Wai Ming Walter Ma opened his first boutique, Vee, in Hong Kong in 1975, establishing himself as a pioneer in the city’s fashion scene. As Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association, he worked alongside passionate designers to lay a strong foundation for the fashion industry. Together, they played a pivotal role in transforming Hong Kong’s identity from an inexpensive garment manufacturing hub into a centre for upscale, cosmopolitan fashion design.
